Personality: Shima is somewhat comical, adding a bit of levity to situations that are otherwise serious. He has a flippant attitude under normal circumstances and seems to like annoying his associates. He also appears to have a history of referring to cute girls he meets as his 'first love', complete with a deadpan look on his face despite the obvious lie. He also apparently enjoys listening to jazz music, as he had a phonograph that played his vinyl records. Underneath this, though, he is quite perceptive in terms of regarding other people. Whenever angered or in combat, Shima is fairly calm, serious, and level-headed.
Background: Shima was born in the Hidden Cloud Village. His parents are unknown, but they were believed to be highly skilled ninja. Due to their disappearance, Shima was taken in by the Raikage of the village. Shima was raised in using different styles of martial arts, and it took him about 10 years to perfect his black thunder style jutsu, handed down to him from scrolls, which he wasn't supposed to have read. Despite his knowledge of the jutsu, he has little to no control over it and is training himself to be able to. He was taken into the academy at a young age, at about 7 years old. While there, he learned about the history of the Hidden Cloud and without much time, he graduated and became a Genin. However, at the age of 15, due to his skill and his ability in using jutsu not many people are able to master, he was given the rank of Chunin. As a Chunin he does more missions than he is used to. He is currently training still, trying to use different jutsus for the black thunder style, so far to no avail.
