The Wind Country is one of the largest countries in the ninja world, though it only borders the Rain and River countries with several of it's western most boarders unknown. The Wind Country is host to Sunagakure, Village Hidden in the Sand. The Wind Country is oriented towards the element of wind as majority of the country is covered in large deserts and is inhospitable, this means large cities are scarce and are typically found only near water sources. The Wind Country is a long desert so the climate is hot, dry and windy so sandstorms are a common occurrence around the land. The Wind Country is a peaceful land with a large and prosperous population, but is does heavily rely on it's frequent trading with The Fire Country who it has close relations with.
